Chris Grice
Chris Grice’s prints, mostly aquatint etchings, often explore the bits of nature that poke through the urban clutter of Greater London. He also produces linocut prints for children.

He has always been keen photographer and many of his prints take their starting point from a photograph, which is adapted and changed to get a desired effect. Through this, he aims to create prints that evoke somewhere personal to the viewer.

Chris studied Fine Art and Photography at Maidstone and Camberwell schools of art and went on to have a varied career in film-making, carpentry and graphic design. He began printmaking with the Victoria Printmakers in Gravesend, who encourage an exploration of printmaking techniques.
