Donna Shrestha is linocut printmaker working from her home studio in South East London. During her degree in illustration, she found a passion for printmaking.  

 

Her prints are influenced by East and South Asian art. Central themes in her work are the universal appeal of nature and world mythology.

 

With purposeful linework her dynamic and energetic linocuts combine abstract stylisation, decorative patterns and vibrant solid colour.

 

She aims to strip away a subject to the most simplistic state and redefine it, exploring how form, weight and movement can be captured in a 2D design.
