I’m a Londoner, always a keen photographer my prints (mostly aquatints) usually take their stating point from a photograph. I’m not particularly interested in producing accurate representations and will happily photoshop to get a desired effect, then produce a plate from that image. Hopefully the viewer can find them accessible enough to be evocative of a place of their own. I took up printmaking with the Victoria Printmakers in Gravesend who encourage an exploration of printmaking and its techniques.
