Kit Boyd

Kit's artworks explore our relationship with landscape and our place in nature. He follows the British romantic tradition with reference to Samuel Palmer and the neo-romantic artists of the 1940s.

Most of his etchings follow on from an original colour painting or drawing. These can be seen on his website. Hand-coloured versions of some etchings are also available in our gallery.

He had a solo show at White Box Gallery on Blackheath throughout August 2019 and works from Art Hub studios next to the Thames Barrier in Charlton.

His work is referenced in several books including The Romantic Impulse by Gerard Hastings and The Poetic Impulse: The Etchings of Samuel Palmer, his Peers and Followers by Elizabeth Harvey-Lee.
