Kit Boyd

Kit's artworks explore our relationship with landscape and our place in nature. He follows the British romantic tradition with reference to Samuel Palmer and the neo-romantic artists of the 1940s.

Most of his etchings follow on from an original colour painting or drawing. These can be seen on his website. Hand-coloured versions of some etchings are also available in our gallery.

He had a solo show at White Box Gallery on Blackheath throughout August 2019, and is represented at the London Original Print Fair and The Works on Paper Fair by Elizabeth Harvey-Lee.

His work is referenced in several books including The Romantic Impulse by Gerard Hastings and The Poetic Impulse: The Etchings of Samuel Palmer, his Peers and Followers by Elizabeth Harvey-Lee.
