Libby Carreck
Libby Carreck has a degree from Ravensbourne College of Art and Design. Her etchings combine her love of colour and shape with her close observations ofthe natural world. Libby also works in watercolour, oil and coloured pencil. Libby is a long-standing member of the Greenwich Printmakers and has exhibited widely, including at the RA Summer Exhibition, The Royal Society of Painter-Etchers and The Royal West of England Academy. Her work has sold around the world including the USA, Canada, Australia, Japan, the Caribbean, Russia and Europe. Libby is also a member of the Society of Botanical Artists where she was awarded the St. Cuthberts Mill prize for her watercolour of orchids. Currently she is experimenting with printing on Japanese papers and combining collagraph, etching and collaged etchings. All her colours are printed by hand with the addition of acrylic paint. Consequently each print may vary slightly hence 'ev' or edition variable next to the edition number.
