Our members are constantly working on creating new work. We have a new print by Tammy Mackay. "Whippet" is a photopolymer print with chine collé. This print has recently been exhibited at Chatsworth House and the Affordable Art Fair, Hampstead. It is available as unframed print in the Gallery.
Elaine Marshall’s latest linocut is of a couple in a rowing boat - an imaginary English river scene. When she was making the linocut the words of the nursery rhyme kept coming into her head “Row, row, row your boat- gently down the stream” so she has titled the print “Gently down the Stream”. She has skilfully printed the linocut with a “split roll,” where three shades of green-blue-green, yellow-green and ochre-green merge together. This print is framed and on the wall as part of our Summer Exhibition.
